Vinyl Films Records
the 10" Series
In this day and age of digital madness and file-swapping and mp3 downloads, we love the idea of creating a truly analog experience for the diehard fan. Each 10" E.P. has material exclusive to the series. The series has seen three releases so far, the first being Mark Kozelek’s “Duk Koo Kim” (he of Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon fame), the second being “Murderer” from the Duluth, MN band Low, and our most recent 10" is from the Japanese four-piece Mono, the hauntingly beautiful “Memorie dal Futuro.” With each 10" in the series we press up 1000 copies on numbered, black vinyl for distribution in the U.S., 1000 copies on colored vinyl for International distribution, and 500 copies on clear vinyl that will be held back for inclusion in a boxed set at the end of the run of the 10" series. After ten releases in the series, we'll compile all ten plus add a bonus disc for the clear box, limited to 500 copies. |
